The drama of the sisters of the twins adopted by Madonna
While the girls are about to live a luxurious life in the singer's $ 40 million house, her sisters fight against poverty in Kayembe, Malawi
Madonna shared a photo on Instagram after confirming the adoption of her new twin daughters
Stella and Esther are twin daughters of Patricia and Adam Mwale. They were raised in an orphanage after her mother died bled at birth from a cesarean in August 2012.
Devastated, Adam, who had been married to Patricia for 21 years, spent all his savings at the funeral. After her death, the girls lived with their grandmother in a neighboring village while her father worked until she also passed away.
Unable to work, raise the twins and support a family of five at the same time, Adam left them both in charge of an orphanage.
When Madonna heard the tragic story of Stella and Esther, then four years old and living in the orphanage, she felt compelled to adopt them. He had not traveled to Kayembe, the village where the family of twins lives, which can only be accessed by crossing a rough and muddy 4 × 4 street, or perhaps he would have ended up adopting his sisters too.
The life of the sisters could not be more different from the destiny that the twins had. Alinefe and Tifa Mwale, aged 15 and 13 respectively, live in a primitive house made of bricks and mud that has no running water, electricity or bathrooms.
Neither have beds and sleep on the asphalt floor, which in the summer can reach 40 degrees Celsius on days of little heat.
They work to survive on 50 cents a day. They share a common bathroom covered with plastic bags between five families in the village and never had a hot bath.
While Esther and Stella will have a cook who prepares their meals, their sisters survive on a daily diet of Msima, a mixture of flour and corn turned into a kind of oatmeal.
They never met their sisters, as they were too poor to pay the bus fare to travel 65 kilometers to the village of Mchinji in Malawi, where the Casa de la Esperanza orphanage is located.
Her father never told them that they had been adopted by one of the most famous women in the world, and only heard from a friend of hers who had heard him on the radio earlier this week. In fact, they also did not know who Madonna was or heard any of her songs.
"I never heard of this person they are with," Alinefe said. "Nobody here knows Madonna. Is she famous? She must be good if she has adopted the twins," she continues.

The one who made the report makes it sound like the twins in the good life and the others that bad, instead of highlighting what is good. Maybe the editor should then adopt the others rather than make it sound like that, collaborate instead of criticize.
